Canadians battling Mother Nature in Salem

By Rob Fai / Vancouver Canadians | June 23, 2013 5:40 PM ET

(Volcanoes Stadium - Keizer, OR) - The Vancouver Canadians are in jeopardy of having their current five-game winning streak snapped as they are in a rain-delay in Salem-Keizer trailing 2-1 in the bottom of the 5th inning.

SS Dickie Thon has the Canadians only RBI thus far scoring CF Ian Parmley from first base with two outs in the top of the 5th. Thon would get caught in a run down between second base and third base to end the inning and immediately after the out was recorded the umpiring crew delayed Sunday's game in progress.

This game is official should the remaining portion of it get called due to inclement weather.
