(Scotiabank Field at Nat Bailey Stadium) - Four Tri-City pitchers combined to shutout the Vancouver Canadians 3-0 on Tuesday night snapping Vancouver's modest two-game winning streak.

LHP Ben Sheckler (2-2) went 5 2/3 innings allowing six hits before turning the ball over to a bullpen that has been tough on the Canadians all season long. LHP Travis Radke (1.1IP); RHP Andres Munoz (1.0IP) and LHP Fred Schlichtholz (1.0IP) did not allow a hit over the game's final 3 1/3 innings, striking out six to seal the victory.

Canadians LF Norberto Obeso was a bright light offensively going 2-for-4 with a tall, towering double, his 5th of the season as Vancouver went 1-for-6 with runners in scoring position.

With the loss, Vancouver dips below .500 again in the second half of the Northwest League season falling to 6-7 (.462) while Tri-City with the hard-fought victory improves to 8-5 (.615) with Wednesday's game set for 7:05pm as the first 1,000 fans will receive a Kevin Pillar Bobblehead courtesy of Scotiabank.
