(Eastlake, OH) - The Lake County Captains, the Class A affiliate of the Cleveland Indians, is announcing its complete 2014 promotional schedule this week. Today the Weekly Theme Nights will be highlighted.
The popular Monday Buck Night will return this year and will feature $1 Five Star Brand Hot Dogs, chips, French fries, popcorn, soda and beer and $1 off a box seat ticket.
Bark in the Park returns on Monday, July 28 and Tuesday, August 12 and features the opportunity for fans to bring their canine friends to Classic Park. Dog owners can purchase $5 pooch passes for these games, from which a portion of the proceeds will benefit local animal charities.
Thirsty Thursdays, presented by ESPN 850 WKNR, will feature a .25-cent beer Happy Hour for one hour before game time and half-price draft beer and fountain soda until 9 PM.
As part of Thirsty Thursday, the Captains will offer an all-you-can eat wing and pizza buffet outside the Corona Castaways Bar for only $13.
Thursday is also Date Night, which provides couples with the opportunity to purchase two tickets to The Officer's Club Suite and enjoy a buffet dinner, a $56 value, for only $34.
The Captains have scheduled eight Friday Fireworks Nights presented by Universal Windows Direct and 92.3 FM The Fan throughout the 2014 season beginning May 9.
In addition, on select weekend nights, the Captains will feature a post-game concert from a popular local band in the left field picnic area. The Corona Castaways Bar will remain open for the concerts and fans may find a complete listing of all of the bands scheduled to play throughout the season on the Captains website.
Eight Saturday Fireworks Nights presented by Monreal Funeral Home and Cremation Service will take place beginning with the May 10 Captains game.
The Captains will also host two special Sunday fireworks shows presented by Discount Drug Mart, on July 13 and 27.
Sundays will once again be Family Fun Sundays and will include pre-game player autograph sessions, concourse entertainment and activities, the Kids' Zone area and the opportunity for kids to run the bases after the game.
