Captains Return Home for a Brief Three-Game Home Stand Beginning Saturday, June 8
(Eastlake, OH) - The Lake County Captains, class A affiliate of the Cleveland Indians, will begin a six-game home stand on Saturday, June 9, as the Bowling Green Hot Rods (Rays) make a return visit Classic Park. The Captains took two of the three games played against the Hot Rods to end the last home stand.
Saturday is a 7:00 PM start time and the game will be followed by a Saturday Night Fireworks Extravaganza, presented by Monreal Funeral Home & Cremation Services and Fox Sports Sports Time Ohio.
It will be Hungarian Heritage night on Saturday night and traditional Hungarian food will be served and Hungarian music will be played.
Sunday is a 1:30 PM start and is a Family Fun Sunday, presented by the Lake County YMCA, featuring a pre-game player autograph session, concourse entertainment and activities, the Kids' Zone area and the opportunity for kids to run the bases after the game. All kids in attendance will receive a Captains activities book and crayons, presented by the YMCA and Lake County Job and Family Services.
Sunday the Captains will host a special is Macy's Pre-Father's Day promotion at Classic Park. Father's in attendance can sign up for a chance to a Father's Day Experience that includes tickets and a chance to throw out a ceremonial first pitch before the Father's Day game on the following Sunday, June 16. All fans in attendance throughout the series will receive coupons that can be used at Macy's for their Father's Day shopping needs.

Prior to the game on Monday, Glenville football coach Ted Ginn Sr. will be inducted into the Crow's Nest Coaches Hall of Fame.
