Professional Football Player Joe Haden to Host Celebrity Softball Game at Classic Park in Eastlake on July 17

EASTLAKE, OH - Eclectic Marketing is proud to announce that the First Annual Joe Haden & Friends Celebrity Softball Game presented by Lake Health will take place at Classic Park in Eastlake, OH, the home of the Lake County Captains Professional Baseball Club, on Thursday, July 17.

The special event will feature Cleveland's Professional Football Players taking part in a pre-game homerun hitting contest presented by Medical Mutual before the 7 PM softball game that will include Professional Offensive Players against Professional Defensive Players in a seven inning contest. Gates will open to the public at 5 PM.

Several of Haden's offensive and defensive teammates have been invited to participate in the event, and Joe has also extended invitations to several of his friends who compete on other professional football teams throughout the country. A complete listing of players who will be participating will be released closer to the event date.

The softball game is designed to be an interactive experience between players and attendees with opportunities to take photos with, and get autographs from the game's participants and be entertained by in-game promotions and giveaways.

As a first round draft pick in 2010 following an All American collegiate career at the University of Florida, where he also won a National Championship, Haden immediately expressed his loyalty to the Cleveland market by stating, "…I like this City. The fans, they like me here and I started here and want to finish here."

He has gone on to become one of the most talented defensive backs in Professional Football who was recently rewarded with a long-term contract that will keep him in Northeast Ohio for the next five seasons.

All tickets for the softball event are reserved and the first two rows of the Classic Park Grandstand, which are closest to the field and designated as Lower Grandstand seating, will sell for $40, while all other reserved rows of the Grandstand (Upper Grandstand) will be $20.

A special $15 Upper Grandstand ticket price will be available until June 24 and all Upper Grandstand tickets will be $20 on the day of the event. 20-person Luxury Suites ($1,000) and 40-person outdoor Party Decks ($2,000) may also be reserved by calling the Classic Park Office.

A portion of the proceeds from the game will benefit the Lake County Captains 501c3 non-profit organization, Captains Charities, which benefits local youth sports and educational programs.

Haden's teammate CB Aaron Berry will be joined by professional agent Drew Rosenhaus. 

Players already committed include teammates DB Buster Skrine, WR Travis Benjamin, LB Craig Robertson, CB Justin Gilbert and WR Miles Austin. They will be joined by special guest WR Torrey Smith.
