Heroes Weekend Coming to Five County Stadium

The Mudcats are proud to introduce "Mudcats Heroes Weekend," coming to Five County Stadium Friday, August 20 through Sunday, August 22. Mudcats Heroes Weekend will pay tribute to all local heroes with specific theme nights beginning with First Responders Night on Friday, August 20, and continuing with Military Appreciation Night

The Mudcats are proud to introduce "Mudcats Heroes Weekend," coming to Five County Stadium Friday, August 20 through Sunday, August 22.

Mudcats Heroes Weekend will pay tribute to all local heroes with specific theme nights beginning with First Responders Night on Friday, August 20, and continuing with Military Appreciation Night on Saturday, August 21. The weekend will conclude with Teacher Appreciation Day on Sunday, August 22.

Tickets for local heroes including first responders, non-active military and teachers, during Mudcats Heroes Weekend will start at just $4.00. Admission for active-duty military, as always, is free with proper identification. Tickets for family members of first responders, non-active military, active-duty military and teachers will start at $6.00 for Mudcats Heroes Weekend.

Mudcats Heroes Weekend will additionally include CBS17 Friday Night Fireworks on Friday, August 20, a military themed replica jersey giveaway presented by House Autry on Saturday, August 21 and WakeMed Five County Family Sunday featuring $6.00 box seat tickets for fans residing in Wake, Johnston, Franklin, Nash and Wilson counties on Sunday, August 22.

All three games during Mudcats Heroes Weekend will be played at Five County Stadium when the Mudcats host the Atlanta Braves affiliated Augusta GreenJackets. Game time for First Responder Night on Friday, August 20 is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. while Military Appreciation Night on Saturday, August 21 will begin at 5:00 p.m. (with gates opening at 4:00 p.m.). The series, and weekend, finale on Sunday, August 22 will start at 1:00 p.m. for Teacher Appreciation Day.
