Heroes Weekend Returns to Five County Stadium

ZEBULON – The Carolina Mudcats are once again proud to host "Mudcats Heroes Weekend," coming to Five County Stadium with First Responders Night on Friday, August 5, Military Appreciation Night with a souvenir t-shirt giveaway on Saturday, August 6, and Frontline Workers Day on Sunday, August 7.

Tickets for local heroes including first responders, non-active military and frontline workers, during Mudcats Heroes Weekend will start at just $5.00. Admission for active-duty military, as always, is free with proper identification. Tickets for family members of first responders, non-active military, active-duty military and frontline workers will start at $7.00 throughout Mudcats Heroes Weekend.

Heroes Weekend tickets are available by calling (919) 269-2287. Additional ticket options, including single-game tickets, group options, and luxury suite packages in the US Foods Club Level, are all on sale now at www.carolinamudcats.com, and the Five County Stadium front office in Zebulon.

Mudcats Heroes Weekend will additionally include Tryon Family Dentistry and CBS 17 News Friday Night Fireworks on Friday, August 5, a military themed souvenir t-shirt giveaway on Saturday, August 6, and WakeMed Five County Family Sunday featuring $7.00 box seat tickets.

All three games during Mudcats Heroes Weekend will be played at Five County Stadium when the Mudcats host the Chicago White Sox affiliated Kannapolis Cannon Ballers. The game time for First Responders Night on Friday, August 5, is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. while Military Appreciation Night on Saturday, August 6, will begin at 5:00 p.m. The series, and weekend, finale on Sunday, August 7 will start at 1:00 p.m. for Frontline Workers Day. The stadium gates will open one hour before each scheduled first pitch.

The Carolina Mudcats are the officially licensed Carolina League, Class-A, affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers.
