Makeup Doubleheader with Pelicans Announced for July 24 at Five County Stadium

The Mudcats and Pelicans will makeup a previously postponed game on July 24 at Five County Stadium

ZEBULON, N.C. - The Carolina Mudcats announced today that the club's previously postponed game in Myrtle Beach on July 12 versus the Pelicans will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Tuesday, July 24 at Five County Stadium.

The July 24 doubleheader will begin at 4:30 p.m., while game two will follow approximately :30 minutes following the conclusion of game one. Game two of the doubleheader, however, will not begin before 7:00 p.m. The Five County Stadium gates will open at 4:00 p.m. on July 24 prior to the beginning of the doubleheader.
The July 24 home stand will span three days and will now feature four games, including the series opening doubleheader on Tuesday, July 24 beginning at 4:30 p.m. It will then continue with a Super Splash Day promotion and an 11:00 a.m. start on Wednesday, July 25 and conclude with Thirsty Thursday and a 7:00 p.m. first pitch on Thursday, July 26.

The Carolina Mudcats are the proud Carolina League, Class-A Advanced affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers. First established in 1991, the two-time Southern League Champion Mudcats are entering their 28th consecutive season of baseball at Five County Stadium in Zebulon, N.C. The 2018 season marks the first for the Mudcats under the ownership of the Milwaukee Brewers organization.
