Mudcats and Pelicans rained out Friday night

The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Saturday beginning at 4:00 p.m.

ZEBULON, N.C. - Tonight's game between the Carolina Mudcats and Myrtle Beach Pelicans has been postponed due to impending rain at Five County Stadium. The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader beginning at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 2 in Zebulon.

Conor Harber (3-9, 5.47) and Marcos Diplan (6-8, 5.30) will have the games one and two starts respectively for the Mudcats in Saturday's twin bill. Carolina has gone 6-8 in doubleheaders so far this season.

Saturday's doubleheader will still feature a souvenir cooler bag giveaway for Gone Fishing Night. The first 1,200 fans ages 14 & under through the Five County Stadium gates will receive a one-of-a-kind souvenir Mudcats Cooler Bag. 

Saturday's doubleheader also includes the final Super Savings Saturday ticket promotion of the season. This offer features 50% off savings on presold box seat tickets for Carolina's final Saturday home game at Five County Stadium. This ticket offer is valid only for presold tickets purchased online at carolinamudcats.com using the code "SuperSavings" and by calling the team front office at (919) 269-CATS (2287). The Super Savings Saturday ticket promotion is not valid at the Five County Stadium gates.

The Five County Stadium gates will open at 3:30 p.m. before Saturday's 4:00 p.m. start time. Tickets are available by calling (919) 269-CATS (2287), by visiting carolinamudcats.com and by visiting the Five County Stadium box office.

As per team policy, fans may exchange their tickets to Friday's postponed game for seats to a future regular season home game for an equal value ticket. There are no cash refunds for tickets or parking.
