The Charlotte Knights and Charlotte Knights Charities are partnering up with the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation again in 2018 to host Vs. Cancer Night on Thursday, June 28. Thanks to a continued partnership with Great Clips, the Knights will welcome back local stylists who will be on site and ready to shave heads in support of the cause.

A fundraising campaign dedicated to saving kids' lives by empowering athletes and communities to fund lifesaving childhood cancer efforts, Vs. Cancer has been an initiative of Charlotte Knights Charities since 2015. Last season, the Knights front office staff collectively raised $3,777, with half of the proceeds benefiting Levine Children's Hospital's oncology programs and half benefiting the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation's national research efforts to combat childhood cancer.

"Vs. Cancer is grateful for the continued support of the Charlotte Knights staff, players and corporate partners," said Rachel Mark, Associate Campaign Director of Vs. Cancer. "The yearly fundraising efforts of the Knights have enabled us to provide life-changing support for children battling cancer at Levine Children's Hospital and fund ground-breaking research for a cure. The Charlotte Knights and Charlotte Knights Charities are a true asset to our organization and the philanthropic efforts of their community."

This year, Charlotte Knights Charities would like to encourage participation from ALL fans - and that starts with you! Come out to the game on Thursday, June 28 for an inspiring evening of buzz cuts and baseball featuring some of your favorite Knights players, coaches and front office staff.
