(UPTOWN CHARLOTTE, NC) -- The Charlotte Knights are proud to announce a new partnership for the 2018 season with heavy duty truck manufacturer, Freightliner Trucks. The 2018 campaign will kick off the first season of a multi-year partnership with Freightliner Trucks, who will now enjoy a presence at BB&T Ballpark for this season and beyond.
"We are extremely pleased to welcome Freightliner Trucks as a partner of the Charlotte Knights," stated Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Dan Rajkowski of the Charlotte Knights. "The strong presence of Freightliner in the Greater Charlotte Region and our mutual vision for pro-active community commitment made it a perfect fit."
Along with a recently installed outfield wall billboard at the home of the Knights, all of the club's home runs at BB&T Ballpark in 2018 and beyond will be sponsored by Freightliner Trucks. An accompanying truck horn sound will blast throughout the ballpark each and every time a Knights player hits a home run, linking Freightliner Trucks with the most exciting play in baseball.
