(UPTOWN CHARLOTTE, NC) -- The Charlotte Knights dropped game two of the six-game series against the Durham Bulls by a score of 10-1 on Tuesday night in front of a crowd of 9,380 fans at Truist Field.

Charlotte outfielder Oscar Colás continued his solid hitting and went 1-4 with the lone RBI for the Knights. The single was his 12th hit in seven games with the Knights.

Durham RHP Taj Bradley (4-3, 3.66) earned the win as LHP Sammy Peralta (0-1, 4.50) was saddled with the loss on Tuesday. Durham claimed the lead in the 3rd inning with Roman Quinn’s three run homer to go up 3-0.

Charlotte answered back in the bottom of the 3rd inning with the RBI single from Colás knocking in OF Tyler Neslony. The Bulls then went on to score six runs in the fourth inning and one more in the fifth to pull away from the Knights en route the team’s 85th win of the season, securing the International League East Division Title.

RHP Lincoln Henzman got the start for the Knights and threw two innings of scoreless baseball, allowing only three base runners. Out of the bullpen, LHP Yoan Aybar, LHP Zach Muckenhirn and RHP Edgar Navarro all provided scoreless innings for the Knights. OF Craig Dedelow made an appearance on the mound in the the 9th inning, striking out one batter and allowing one hit.

The Knights will conclude the series and the 2022 season on Wednesday morning from Truist Field. First pitch is set for 11:05 a.m. from the home of the Knights.
