Knights Fest Returns on Saturday, March 28th
(UPTOWN CHARLOTTE, NC) – The Charlotte Knights will hold Knights Fest 2020 for all fans on Saturday, March 28th from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at BB&T Ballpark. Tickets for this event, which are on sale now, are just $5 with proceeds to benefit Charlotte Knights Charities.
(UPTOWN CHARLOTTE, NC) – The Charlotte Knights will hold Knights Fest 2020 for all fans on Saturday, March 28th from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at BB&T Ballpark. Tickets for this event, which are on sale now, are just $5 with proceeds to benefit Charlotte Knights Charities.
Gates will open at 1:00 p.m. and fans will be permitted on the field for a pre-game catch for one hour (1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.). During this time, Homer the Dragon and a number of other mascots will interact with fans on the field. As part of this year’s event, there will also be a number of kid-friendly activities including the unveiling of the brand new “Homer’s Play Zone” area, which features new inflatable games and more.
The event will once again feature the team’s annual Media Softball Game. Field box seats will be open for seating on a first-come, first-serve basis. Following the National Anthem at 2:00 p.m., notable members of Charlotte radio and television will face off in a “Rock N’ Jock” style softball game. A full list of participants will be released leading up to March 28th.
Fans will also be offered a free behind-the-scenes tour of BB&T Ballpark and concession stands will feature hot dogs, nachos, popcorn, sodas, bottled water and domestic draft beers for just $2 each. In addition, the Charlotte Knights Team Store will be open and stocked with many new items for the 2020 season. There will also be a tent sale where fans can take advantage of discounts available on hundreds of merchandise items.
