Chattanooga did strike first, scoring on a two-run Allan Cerda home run. The Biscuits tied the game a half-inning later in the top of the third and took a 4-2 lead in the top of the fourth. The Lookouts tacked on one more run in the bottom of that inning, but Montgomery's offense kept piling on the runs.
Down 7-3 in the seventh Leonardo Rivas smacked a two-run homer to make it 7-5. With one out, TJ Hopkins brought them within one run on a sacrifice fly. That was the closest they would get as the Biscuits added two insurance runs in the eighth to make it 9-6.
After an off day tomorrow, the team heads down to Rocket City for six games against the Trash Pandas. They will then embark to Biloxi for another six-game series before returning home to face Pensacola.
