Chattanooga couldn't seem to get on track against the Jackson Generals, dropping the series opener 6-2.
Righty Johendí Jiminian was hit with his third loss on the year giving up three runs, on three hits, only getting through the first inning.
Jackson cranked out back-to-back dingers, along with a bases loaded walk to take an early 3-0 lead in the first.
The Generals then added RBI doubles both in the fourth and fifth inning to extend the lead to 5-0.
Chattanooga finally gained life in the sixth inning, netting a pair of runs thanks to a Stuart Fairchild solo home run, along with a Brantley Bell RBI double.  The rally would stop there with Chris Okey grounding out second to end the inning.
The Jackson arms would then hold the Lookouts bats hostage the rest of the evening, not allowing a run.
Chattanooga looks to get back on track tomorrow with a 7:15 PM first pitch as RHP Brad Markey (0-1, 6.00 ERA) gets the nod vs. RHP Emilio Vargas (3-3, 4.39 ERA).
