Lookouts Fall Short 7-6 in Series Finale

The Pensacola Blue Wahoos (26-14) came back from three down and took the series from the Lookouts (21-17) three games to two, winning the final game, 7-6.
First baseman Mitch Nay got the Lookouts on the board early with his third homerun of the year, as he fell a triple shy of hitting for the cycle, collecting a season-high four RBI on the day. In the fourth Chattanooga was stung with a 5-run inning as the Blue Wahoos never looked back.
Right-hander Alex Powers came out of the pen and kept the home team within reach by striking out five of the six batters he faced over two innings. Third baseman Gavin LaValley, went 3 -for-4 with two doubles as the Lookouts rallied late in the 8th inning, eventually falling one run shy of Pensacola to end the homestand.
The Lookouts finished 7-3 between the two series, as they now hit the road for five straight against the Biloxi Shuckers.
