Reigning Southern League Player of the Week, Christian Roa only allowed one run in six innings to earn his second win of the year. Roa now has a 1.06 ERA over three starts in Double-A.

The offense responded to Roa's strong outing with plenty of run support. In the second inning, Matt McLain and Garrett Wolforth each belted solo homers to give them an early two-run lead.

Chattanooga added two more in the bottom of the fourth on a two-run triple by Daniel Vellojin. In the fifth, Cole Roederer broke up Roa's no-hit bid with a solo home run to put Tenessee on the board. In the bottom of that inning, the Lookouts regained their four-run lead on a McLain RBI single.

Rece Hinds added the last Lookouts run of the day in the eighth inning on his first Double-A homer.

Tomorrow, Reds pitcher Graham Ashcraft will be making a Major League Rehab start for the Lookouts. Before landing on the IL, Ashcraft was 5-3 with a 3.97 ERA for the Reds.
