CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. – Isiah Gilliam hit a walk-off two-RBI single in the bottom of the tenth and the Chattanooga Lookouts claimed a, 7-6, win over the Biloxi Shuckers in the series finale on Sunday afternoon from AT&T Field.

Biloxi (30-31) got on the board first with a Pedro Severino two-run shot in the top of the third.

In the fifth, the Lookouts put up a four-spot to take the lead. Jonathan Willems reached on a one-out triple and took advantage of a fielding error by the Shuckers to score on the next at-bat. Matt McLain hit a two-run homer down the left-field line to give the hosts the one-run lead and Alex McGarry added one more with an RBI single.

The score stayed the same until Biloxi scored three in the eighth to take a one-run lead but Chattanooga answered.

In the ninth Michael De Leon reached with a single to right and was brought home with a Willems RBI single to tie the game and give Chattanooga a shot for the win. Then, James Free, pinch-hitting for Yang, flew into a double play as Willems was thrown out at the play to send the game to extras.

In the top half, Julio Pinto got things started with a flyout to center and struck out Yeison Coca for the first two outs of the inning. Cam Devanney and Sal Felick had back-to-back singles to drive in Felix Valerio before Pinto fanned Joey Wiemer to end the inning.

With James Free starting on second in the bottom of the 10th, Michael Siani got hit by a pitch to start the inning. After a wild pitch put runners on second and third, McLain drew the walk and Gilliam completed the game with a two-run single down the right-field line to bring home the win.

Severino led the Sucker offense with a 2-for-5 day at the plate with a home run and two RBIs. Kent Hasler (0-3) was tagged with the loss coming into the 10th and was unable to get an out. Hasler allowed two runs (one earned) on a hit and a walk.

Willems paced the Chattanooga offense with a 2-for-4 game with a triple and RBI. McLain and Gilliam had two RBIs each and De Leon finished 2-for-4 in the contest.

Brandon Williamson got the start for the Lookouts pitching five innings allowing five hits, two runs, two walks and had eight strikeouts in the outing. Julio Pinto (5-0) was credited with the win pitching an inning allowing one unearned run on a pair of hits and had two strikeouts.

Chattanooga now travels to Tennessee for a six-game set beginning on Tuesday. The Lookouts will be back at AT&T Field on June 28 as they play host to Birmingham for six games.
