The El Paso Chihuahuas fell behind early but scored four unanswered runs in their 4-1 victory over the Colorado Springs Sky Sox Thursday at Southwest University Park. The two teams split the four-game series.

Colorado Springs went ahead 1-0 on Ryan Cordell's first-inning triple, giving the Sky Sox a lead in the first inning for the fourth consecutive game. It was the only run El Paso starter Dinelson Lamet allowed in his six-inning start.
With two outs in the bottom of the sixth inning, Jabari Blash hit an RBI double over the right fielder's head and scored moments later on Christian Villanueva's RBI single. Dusty Coleman hit a home run off the Santa Fe Pavilion in right field in the seventh, his fourth longball of the year, to put El Paso ahead 4-1.
Phil Maton's seven saves are good for second most in the Pacific Coast League.
