Reno's five-run fourth inning rally helped the Aces beat the El Paso Chihuahuas 6-2 Thursday at Greater Nevada Field. It was the first game after the Pacific Coast League all-star break and the opener of the Chihuahuas' eight-game road trip.

Rafael Ortega went 3-for-4 with a triple and a run, collecting three of El Paso's five hits. Franchy Cordero hit his ninth triple, which ties him for the PCL lead, despite playing in only 53 of the Chihuahuas' 91 games.
Neither team had any hits through the first three innings Thursday. Rocky Gale went 1-for-4 with an RBI single in the loss. Righty relievers Christian Bethancourt and Jason Jester both pitched scoreless innings for the Chihuahuas out of the bullpen. Nick Buss walked in a pinch-hitting appearance one day after collecting a single in the Triple-A All-Star Game.
