The El Paso Chihuahuas hit five home runs in their 10-4 win over the Reno Aces Friday night at Greater Nevada Field. It was El Paso's highest single-game home run total of the season and the most home runs allowed in a game by Reno this year.

Nick Buss and Collin Cowgill hit back-to-back home runs for the Chihuahuas in the fourth inning, El Paso's first set of back-to-back home runs since Diego Goris and Jabari Blash on July 3 at home versus Reno. Buss went 3-for-4 and is batting .390 in 68 PCL games this season. Cowgill's homer came on his first Triple-A swing since late May, as he was activated from the disabled list earlier on Friday.

Goris hit a pinch-hit home run in the eighth inning, El Paso's first pinch-hit homer of the year. The Chihuahuas' previous pinch-hit home run came from Alex Dickerson at Iowa on May 23, 2016. Reno's Jeremy Hazelbaker hit an inside-the-park home run in the fourth inning, the second inside-the-park homer against the Chihuahuas this month.
