The El Paso Chihuahuas finished their sweep of the Reno Aces with an 11-3 win Friday night at Greater Nevada Field. It was El Paso's first regular season sweep since August 28-31, 2017 at home versus Fresno. Including last September's postseason series, the Chihuahuas have won 10 consecutive games against Reno.

The Chihuahuas scored four runs each in the third and fourth innings to build an early lead. El Paso scored first in all four games of the series. El Paso pitchers Dillon Overton and Eric Yardley combined to go 3-for-3 at the plate. Brett Nicholas drove in five runs Friday, becoming the first Chihuahuas player since Tony Cruz on August 29, 2017 with five RBIs in a game.
The Chihuahuas have an 8-1 road record this season. Nicholas and Franmil Reyes both hit home runs in back-to-back games to close the series. Reno has dropped eight consecutive games.
