Carlos Asuaje hit a three-run home run with two outs in the eighth inning to break a late tie and give the El Paso Chihuahuas a 9-6 victory over the Tacoma Rainiers Wednesday night at Southwest University Park. The game featured five lead changes.

Rafael Ortega went 2-for-5 with two singles to extend his hitting streak to 11 games. Jabari Blash went 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBIs. Blash has six home runs in his last eight games and has joined Cody Decker and Hunter Renfroe as Chihuahuas to homer in four consecutive games.
Six different Chihuahuas had multi-hit games Wednesday. The Chihuahuas have won two games in a row and five of their last seven and are currently in third place, four games behind first place Salt Lake.
