With the Salt Lake Bees' loss to Fresno Friday, the Chihuahuas and Bees remain tied for first place in the Southern Division, with three games left for both teams.

Nick Buss had both RBIs for El Paso in the loss. Buss went 1-for-5 with a triple and is now hitting .351, best in the Pacific Coast League, 11 points ahead of Colorado Springs' Ivan De Jesus Jr. Franchy Cordero went 2-for-5 with singles in his first two at-bats, giving him a stretch of six consecutive hits dating back to Thursday's home game.
