El Paso homered in both the ninth and 10th innings Saturday in the Chihuahuas' 6-5 win over the Reno Aces. The Chihuahuas are now 5-2 in extra-inning games this season.

The Chihuahuas led 4-0 in the third when Reno started its comeback. The Aces scored once in the third and twice each in the sixth and eighth to go ahead 5-4. Ryan Schimpf then struck a solo home run to right field in the top of the ninth, his second homer in as many games, to tie the score 5-5. Franchy Cordero's deep home run to right-center put the Chihuahuas ahead 6-5 in the 10th. The Chihuahuas have eight home runs in their last two games.
Kyle Lloyd had his best Triple-A start to date, allowing only two earned runs in 5.1 innings. Lloyd struck out nine, matching the amount of strikeouts he had in 17.1 Triple-A innings entering play.
Nick Buss went 2-for-5 with a home run and two RBIs and now has a .390 batting average through 69 games with the Chihuahuas.
