Clearwater Phillies & Threshers Wall of Fame
The Philadelphia Phillies brought minor league baseball to Clearwater in 1985 with the addition of the Clearwater Phillies to the advanced-A Florida State League. Since that inaugural season, there have been outstanding contributions by players, managers and executives at both historic Jack Russell Memorial Stadium and as Threshers at Spectrum Field (formerly Bright House Field).
The Clearwater Wall of Fame was created by the front office staff of the Clearwater Threshers as an internal recognition of these outstanding honorees, and we now have an in-park display for the fans at Spectrum Field. On your next trip to Spectrum Field, please visit the new Wall of Fame that has been installed on the first-base concourse near the south elevator to view the current members.
The 2019 nominees were Ron Jones, Ryan Madson and Andrew Carpenter. After an online poll, Ryan Madson was selected as the 2019 Clearwater Wall of Fame inductee, with his photo on the wall unveiled during the August 17th Threshers game.
Fans will again have the opportunity to participate in the voting for the 2020 nominees next season.
