Series finale with Snappers postponed due to cold weather

Cold weather and snow in the forecast forced Sunday's series finale in Beloit.

BELOIT, WI (April 14, 2019) - Sunday afternoon's series finale between the Clinton LumberKings and Beloit Snappers has been postponed due to cold weather and a forecast of snow in the area.

The postponement is the second of the season for Clinton and second of the week. The series will end with the LumberKings having taken the first two meetings from Beloit.

Sunday's game will be made up as part of a doubleheader when Clinton returns to Beloit in May. The specific date of the make up is still yet to be determined. 

The LumberKings will now head south to meet the Peoria Chiefs for the first game of a three-game series starting on Monday night. Clinton will throw right-handed pitcher Alberto Guerrero (0-0, 9.00) while Peoria will counter with righty Dionis Zamora (0-1, 8.31).
