Postponed in Kane County, again

LumberKings to host doubleheaders on April 8 & June 10

The start to the 2018 season will have to wait until Saturday, April 7th in Clinton.

Geneva, IL (April 6, 2018) - The Clinton LumberKings and Kane County Cougars scheduled doubleheader has been postponed due to cold weather. Following Thursday night's postponement due to snow, the teams will now play doubleheaders at Ashford University Field on Sunday April 8th and Sunday June 10th.

The LumberKings will host their regularly schedule home opener against the Cougars on Saturday, April 7th before hosting Sunday's doubleheader with Kane County. Both games will be seven inning affairs with the first pitch for game one being slated for 12:00 PM and the second game to follow approximately 30 minutes after the final out in game one is recorded.

The LumberKings will then host the second doubleheader on Sunday, June 10th in Clinton. Game one is scheduled for a 12:00 PM start time with the second game to follow approximately 30 minutes after the final out of game one.
