Clippers tie River Cats

On Thursday, March 20th, the Clippers and the Pacific Coast League's Sacramento River Cats (AAA Oakland) played to a 2-2 draw.

Trevor Bauer turned in five innings of three-hit, two-run baseball, fanning eight batters. Bauer gave way to Mike Zagurski, Nick Hagadone, Scott Barnes, and Jacob lee, all of which threw one shutout inning.

At the plate, the Clippers offense was paced by 3B Giovanny Urshela, who went 3-for-4 with one RBI. Driving in the other run was 2B Joey Wendle. Wendle was rated the 9th-best prospect in the Indians organization by Baseball Prospectus. Also with multi-hit games were DH Jose Ramirez (2-for-4, one run scored) and CF Tyler Naquin (2-for-4, one run scored). According to Baseball Prospectus, Naquin is the 3rd-best prospect in the Indians organization and Ramirez is rated the 6th-best prospect.
