Together We Mourn the Loss of Sandy Schnacke

The Clippers are saddened by the passing of Sandy Schnacke, the wife of Clippers President and General Manager Ken Schnacke

Sandra K. Schnacke, age 65, of Upper Arlington, was called to Heaven on Sunday, January 21, 2018 while at The James Cancer Hospital.

Born in Marietta, she was raised in Hilliard and graduated from Hilliard High School in 1970. She received her Bachelor of Science, Education degree from The Ohio State University. Sandy taught full-time for 30 years at the Ohio State School for the Deaf and after her retirement, was a substitute teacher for 10 years. She donated her time to many causes including Champions for Children, the Arthritis Foundation, and volunteered her time and talents on behalf of The James. 
Besides her children's activities and baseball, Sandy loved golf, her card club and being a member of the Chickadees bowling team. Sandy was preceded in death by her father Robert "Rusty" Rohrer. She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Ken Schnacke; her mother, Annabel Rohrer of Hilliard; her children, Stephanie (Tim) Fox of Charlotte, NC; Kevin (Kristine) Schnacke of Hilliard; and Keith Schnacke of New York; her adoring grandchildren, Alyssa and Miles Fox; siblings, Gary (Judi) Rohrer of Hilliard, Steve (Kim) Rohrer of Hilliard and Debbie (Greg) Carignan of London, OH and their families.
A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held 6-9 p.m. SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 3, 2018 at the AMELITA MIROLO BARN, 4395 Carriage Hill Lane, Columbus, OH 43220, where friends are invited to share their favorite memories. (Casual attire please.)
