Miranda joins Enmanuel Zabala (August 22, 2016: 5-for-5) and Dan Rizzie (July 19, 2017: 5-for-6) as the only three players to deliver a five-hit performance in team history. The 23-year-old also holds a .545 batting average through his first six games with Columbia.

Tony Dibrell made his 20th start of the season and battled through five innings. Aside from the five-run second inning, the righty finished strong and allowed zero runs in his final three frames on the hill. Taylor Henry was solid out of the bullpen (2.0 IP, 1 H, 0 ER, 2 K). The southpaw entered the game with the bases loaded and no outs in the sixth inning. Henry struck out Seamus Curran and then produced a double-play ball to escape trouble. Darwin Ramos (W, 4-3) closed the door with a scoreless eighth and ninth innings.
