SPRINGDALE, AR - Catcher Lorenzo Quintana belted a first-inning three-run home run and Cionel Perez spun seven frames of one-run ball as the Hooks beat Northwest Arkansas, 4-1, Tuesday night to sweep the series at Arvest Ballpark.

Corpus Christi (9-3, 52-29) finished the six-game road trip by winning the final four contests. The Hooks are 25-8 since May 26.

Chas McCormick beat out an infield hit to begin the ballgame, and two outs later cleanup hitter Yordan Alvarez coaxed a walk from lefty Foster Griffin. Quintana, who connected with Alvarez on back-to-back home runs in the ninth inning Monday night, drove an 0-2 pitch into the terrace beyond the left-field wall.

Alvarez made it 4-0 in the third on a two-out RBI single, which plated Stephen Wrenn from third base.

Perez (6-1) seized the advantage, scattering one run, five singles and one walk. The 22-year-old struck out four and matched his career best with seven innings pitched. Perez retired the final eight men he faced.

Carlos Sierra blanked the Naturals over the final two innings to pick up his second save.

Hooks pitchers penned a 1.55 ERA during the trek. Corpus Christi returns to Whataburger Field to begin a six-game homestand.

Jorge Alcala (1-1, 2.53) is slated to face Arkansas right-hander Nathan Bannister (4-5, 5.91) in Wednesday's opener.
