FRISCO - Michael DeLeon's ninth-inning single into right field chased home Charles Leblanc from third base, sending the RoughRiders to a 5-4 win over Corpus Christi Wednesday night before 3,833 fans at Dr Pepper Ballpark.
Rehabbing Astros right-hander Brad Peacock made the start for the Hooks and retired six of the seven men he faced, striking out four.

Enoli Paredes took over in the third and spun a 1-2-3 inning. Paredes ran into a roadblock in the fourth as he was forced to throw 32 pitches. Leblanc capitalized on a pair of walks with a two-out RBI single.
Corpus Christi erased the 1-0 deficit in the fifth with five of the first six reaching base against Jason Bahr. Chuckie Robinson plated the first run with a sac fly. Osvaldo Duarte and Bryan De La Cruz cashed in with RBI singles. Duarte later scored via a wild pitch. J.J. Matijevic notched a double in the four-run sequence, which stood as the lone Hooks extra-base hit.
Frisco answered immediately, sending seven men to bat in the home half. Texas Ranger Isiah Kiner-Falefa, playing in the second game of a rehab assignment, provided the big hit with a two-run double that tied the game at 4. Paredes bounced back to retire the final eight men in order.
Leblanc opened the last of the ninth with a base hit into left field off Riley Ferrell. Leblanc stole second and then advanced to third on a wild pitch, setting the stage for DeLeon's game-winning hit.
The Riders bullpen teamed to twirl 4.2 innings of one-hit shutout relief.
Corpus Christi now heads to Midland for a four-game set against the first-place Hounds. Carson LaRue, who made a spot start for Triple-A Round Rock last week, is slated to toil for the Hooks. Midland counters with Kyle Friedrichs.
