With a steady rain falling and Corpus Christi trailing 9-5, Ryne Birk and Stephen Wrenn worked bases-loaded walks from Sam Selman to make it a two-run game. De Goti then smacked a line-drive into the left-field gap, giving the Hooks a 10-9 edge. Carmen Benedetti later cracked a two-out RBI single to complete the uprising.

Ralph Garza, who celebrated his 24th birthday Friday, earned the victory by twirling two perfect innings.
Brock Dykxhoorn made the start for Corpus Christi (1-1) and retired 12 of the first 13 men he faced. Dykxhoorn yielded one unearned run on two hits over 4.1 frames. He struck out five and did not issue a walk.
The Naturals (1-1) rallied for eight runs from the fifth through the seventh against lefties Ryan Hartman and Sean Stutzman.
