Weigle holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the United States Military Academy at West Point and completes his Master of Business Administration at Rice University this spring. Previously, he worked as a business operations associate in Houston, focused on strategic and financial projects for the Astros minor league properties. Weigle served for over eight years in the United States Army as an aviation officer, AH-64D Apache helicopter pilot, and aviation company commander, deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom X-XI and XIII.

"Wes brings a passion for excellence and unmatched leadership abilities that will serve the organization well," O'Neill said. "He is determined to connect with our fans and to create unique and memorable experiences for them at Whataburger Field."
Five Hooks front-office staff members have been promoted: Director of Broadcasting Michael Coffin to Director of Media Relations & Broadcasting; Director of Fan Engagement JD Davis to Director of Marketing; Accounting Analyst Jessica Fearn to Accounting Manager; Group Sales Manager Zach Kaddatz to Director of Premium & Membership Sales; and Partnership Activation Coordinator Diana Sleep to Business Development Manager.
