GENEVA, Ill. - The Kane County Cougars have announced that the organization's very own specialty craft beer "Raging Cougar Ale", created by the popular Warrenville-based Two Brothers Brewing Company, will now be available for fans to enjoy in cans at Northwestern Medicine Field this season.
The Cougars are the only organization in the Midwest League to currently feature their own branded beer at their home ballpark as well as the ballpark of their Major League affiliate.
A light and hoppy pale ale with a golden color and nutty caramel malt flavor, Raging Cougar Ale cans will be available for purchase throughout the ballpark beginning Opening Night on Thursday, April 6 at Northwestern Medicine Field. Raging Cougar Ale will also be available for purchase by the six pack at Two Brothers Tap House in Warrenville, Ill. and Two Brothers Roundhouse in Aurora, Ill. Fans traveling outside of Illinois will be able to enjoy the Cougars specialty craft beer at Chase Field in Phoenix, Ariz. and the Two Brothers Tap House and Brewery Restaurant in Scottsdale, Ariz.
"Today's announcement signifies the wonderful partnership that we have with Two Brothers Brewing," said Cougars owner Dr. Bob Froehlich. "Launching Raging Cougar Ale in a can makes the product more accessible to fans throughout the ballpark and provides them with a more refreshing experience while they're taking in a Cougars game."
Added Cougars owner Cheryl Froehlich, "We're excited for fans to be able to experience Raging Cougar Ale in this form as the new can will provide a more visual experience and show how proud the Cougars organization is to have Two Brothers Brewing as the creator of our specialty craft beer."
