Weekly Specials for Cougars 2017 Season Announced

Includes the new Family Four-Pack Fireworks Friday special and returning favorites

GENEVA, Ill. - The Kane County Cougars have announced the weekly specials for 2017 as part of the organization's promotional schedule. Excitement continues to build as this is the first of multiple promotional announcements the Cougars will make leading up to single-game tickets going on sale Wednesday, March 1 at 10 a.m.

Opening Night for the Cougars 2017 season is Thursday, April 6 at 6:30 p.m. against the Clinton LumberKings. Group outings, season ticket packages and pick-your-own plans starting at five games are currently on sale and can be ordered by calling the Cougars ticket office at 630-232-8811.

New for this season, will be the Family Four-Pack Fireworks Friday. For $39, the Family Four-Pack includes four hot dogs, four sodas and a bag of popcorn for all Friday fireworks games beginning May 19. Additional tickets can be purchased for $9.75 and will include a hot dog and soda with a maximum of 10 tickets per Family Four-Pack order.

$5 Mondays, presented by Meijer, include $5 reserved and lawn seat tickets for all Monday games from June - September (excluding July 3). All Monday games throughout the 2017 season (excluding July 3) will also feature the Micro Monday special with craft beers available to fans 21 and older for half-price.

Half-Price Hump Days, presented by Gordon Food Service, will help fans get through the work week with half-price reserved and lawn seat tickets as well as regular-size sodas, burgers, pizza, nachos, popcorn and select souvenirs for all Wednesday home games from June through September.

The always popular Thirsty Thursday special, presented by Miller Lite, is back again this season. Beginning April 6, fans can enjoy $1 sodas, hot dogs and select beers during all Thursday evening games.

Sunday Funday, presented by Dave & Buster's, will begin on May 28 with Kids Eat Free as all children ages 3-10 receive a free hot dog and small soda. There will be also be pre-game autographs with Cougars players on the field and half-price wristbands in the KidZone, presented by Rainbow Play Systems.

Additional weekly specials for the 2017 season include Seniors Eat Free and Seniors Half-Price Tickets. For all weekday day games, excluding Memorial and Labor Day, seniors age 65 and older will receive a voucher at the gate for a complimentary hot dog and small soda while seniors can also purchase half-price box, reserved and lawn seat tickets for all Tuesday and Wednesday games.

Military Appreciation Days will take place during every Cougars regular season home game in 2017 as all active duty military personnel and their immediate families will receive free tickets by showing their military ID at the ticket window.
