GENEVA, Ill. - The Kane County Cougars have announced the weekly specials as part of the organization's promotional schedule for the upcoming 2018 season. Excitement is building as this is the first promotional announcement of the year leading up to single-game tickets going on sale Thursday, March 1 at 10 a.m. CT.
Opening Night is Thursday, April 5 at 6:30 PM against the Clinton LumberKings. Group outings, season ticket packages and pick-your-own plans are currently on sale and can be purchased by calling the front office at 630-232-8811.
New for this season, will be the Taco Tuesday special. During select Tuesday games, both tacos and margaritas at the South of the Border Cart will be half-price. Fans will be able to purchase half-price tacos and margaritas on June 5, June 12, August 14 and August 21.
Both $5 Mondays, presented by Meijer and Micro Monday deals will be available again throughout the season. $5 Mondays feature $5 reserved and lawn seat tickets for all Monday games from June through September. Every Monday home game is a Micro Monday, allowing fans 21 and older to enjoy premium and craft beer for half-price.
Half-Price Hump Days, presented by Gordon Food Service, will return from June-September to help you get through the week with half-price reserved and lawn tickets including select concessions items such as regular-size sodas, burgers, pizza, nachos, popcorn and select souvenirs.
The always popular Thirsty Thursday, presented by Miller Lite, is back once again with $1 draft beers, hot dogs and sodas for every Thursday night game during the entire season.
Family Four-Pack Fireworks Fridays kick off on Friday, May 25. For only $39, you receive four reserved seat tickets, four hot dogs, four sodas, and a giant bag of popcorn during every Friday fireworks game. Additional tickets can be added to your order for $9.75 each and will include a hot dog and soda. There is a maximum of 10 tickets per Family Four-Pack order. Four Packs must be purchased in advance of your desired game date.
Sunday Funday, presented by Dave & Buster's, begins on May 27 along with Kids Eat Free. All kids age 3-10, receive a voucher at the gate for a free hot dog and soda. KidZone wristbands are half-price with pre-game autographs on the field.
Additional weekly specials include Seniors Eat Free and Seniors Half-Price Tickets. On day games, Monday through Friday, excluding Memorial Day, Labor Day and July 3, seniors age 65 and older will receive a voucher at the gate for a free hot dog and soda while seniors can purchase half-price box, reserved or lawn seat tickets for all Tuesday games.
Military Appreciation Days take place during every regular season home game as all active duty military and their immediate families receive free tickets with show of Military ID at the ticket window.
