Crawdads to Hold Open House THIS SATURDAY!

HICKORY, NC - With the start of the 2013 season right around the corner, the Hickory Crawdads are getting ready for their 21st year with a FREE Open House at L.P. Frans Stadium on Sat., March 30 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.!

Fans that attend the Open House can take advantage of a special ticket deal. For ONLY $20 they will receive 4 grandstand ticket vouchers for Opening Weekend (April 4-7), as well as two parking passes!

The Open House provides fans their first opportunity to buy NEW Crawdads merchandise available in the Team Store! Each fan who spends a minimum of $20 in the Team Store can choose an egg. Each egg is filled with valuable coupons for meal vouchers, t-shirts, tickets, novelty items, and a wide variety of other prizes.

This year's Open House also features a variety of fun activities including an Easter Egg Hunt and a piñata! Fans can hang out with Conrad the Crawdad, bounce in the Bounce House, test their arms at the Speed Pitch, get their face painted, and play games in the outfield.

Concessions will be available at the Open House, including $1 hot dogs and Pepsi products, and FREE popcorn!

At 11 a.m., tryouts will begin for everyone interested in performing the National Anthem before a 2013 Crawdads home game.

The Crawdads will also be collecting non-perishable food items. For every canned food item donated, fans will receive $1 off a regular-priced grandstand ticket for any home April or May home game.(maximum $8 off per person).

So come on out for this day of FREE FUN at the ballpark, and a chance to reign in the 2013 season with the Crawdads!
