The Williamsport Crosscutters will be featured on two special Fragments of the Farm cards as part of the 2017 Topps Pro Debut baseball card set.
The cards feature Cutters mascot Boomer with a swatch of his fur and pieces of BB&T Ballpark parking lot banners that hung during the 2016 season.
"We are honored to have pieces of Cutters history as part of a Topps national card release for the third straight year. We love being able to share a little piece of Cutters baseball with card collectors around the country," said Gabe Sinicropi, Cutters Vice President of Marketing and Public Relations.
Last year, Cutters Director of Smile Rhashan West-Bey was featured in Fabrics of the Farm. And in 2015, a card contained pieces of an old Sawmill Team Store sign that had previously hung in the stadium along with a special patch card of Cutters mascot Boomer.
Topps Pro Debut features the top minor league players and showcases the first minor league images of many of the 2016 MLB draftees. The set features a 200-card base set plus a variety of special inserts including Fragments of the Farm relics offering offbeat MiLB memorabilia pieces.
Hobby boxes and packs of 2017 Topps Pro Debut are scheduled to be available at retailers starting May 24.
