25 Fireworks Shows to Light Up Curve, Pa. in Club's 15th season

Fourth of July Fireworks Spectacular leads largest group of fireworks shows since '06
February 21, 2013

CURVE, Pa. - Fans love Fireworks and that is what the Curve will bring to the table in their 15th season of baseball with 25 different fireworks shows scattered across 71 home games at Peoples Natural Gas Field. Each Curve homestand in 2013 will have at least one fireworks show while 10 home swings will have at least two fireworks shows. For the third straight season, the club will be home on July 4 to host the Erie SeaWolves with a Fourth of July Fireworks Spectacular presented by the Pennsylvania Lottery.

Patrons of Curve, Pa. will get their first dose of fireworks mania at the ballpark on BOpening Night, April 11 when the Curve and Harrisburg Senators open up the 2013 home schedule (The Curve will celebrate the life of Bo Forney, their bat boy, who passed away in February). The BOpening Night fireworks are the first of four fireworks shows in April, which will be followed by four more shows in May. The long-standing Curve, Pa. tradition of Sunday Night Fireworks also returns in May with the 6 p.m. tilt versus Richmond on the 26th.

Both June and July feature five different fireworks shows, while fans can get more bang for their buck (literally) with six shows during the month of August. The final Curve night game of the season, a 6 p.m. contest versus Akron on September 1, will serve as the final fireworks show of the 2013 campaign.
