CURVE, Pa. - If it's giveaways you're after then look no further than Peoples Natural Gas Field in 2013 as the Curve have put together quite an eclectic assortment of them for their 15th season of baseball. From fan-voted bobblehead selections and a Peoples Natural Gas Field replica giveaway to shelf elves and youth bat bags, this year's giveaway list has something for fans of all ages.

Headlining the list of giveaways is a trio of 15th Season Bobbleheads that celebrate three different eras of Curve baseball. The players chosen to appear on each bobblehead were selected by a fan vote, which for two of the three bobbles was conducted earlier this year on the Curve's facebook page. A third and final vote for the last 15th season bobblehead will take place in the coming weeks.

Representing the 1999-2003 era of baseball will be the Sean Burnett Bobblehead, which will be given away to the first 1,500 fans (all ages) on Saturday, June 8 thanks to UniFirst. Burnett, a first-round pick of the Pirates in 2000, went 14-6 in 27 starts for Altoona in 2003 and continues to currently pitch in the big leagues for the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim.

The second in the trio, which represents the 2004-2008 era, will be the Andrew McCutchen Bobblehead that will be given away to the first 1,500 fans (all ages) on July 5 when the Curve takes on Erie thanks to Nuts for You.   McCutchen, a two-time NL All-Star for the Pittsburgh Pirates, patrolled centerfield in parts of two seasons (2006 & 2007) for the Curve in his ascent to being the cornerstone in Pittsburgh.

A player for the third and final 15th season Bobblehead covering the 2009-present era of baseball has yet to be determined via online vote but will be handed out to the first 1,500 fans on August 9 courtesy of Capital Contractors.

Fans in Curve, Pa. will also be treated to a fourth and very unique bobblehead in the form of a Take it from the Tinkersons Bobblehead of Tillman Tinkerson, which will be handed out to the first 1,000 fans on June 14 thanks to the Altoona Mirror. Take it from the Tinkersons is a comic strip set to launch in newspapers across the United States on April 1st about a family who learns things the hard way so you don't have to. It is penned and created by Altoona-native Bill Bettwy, who has been the Director of Mascot Development for the Altoona Curve since the end of the 2009 season.

"There's no better way in baseball to be commemorated for your accomplishments and popularity than with a bobblehead," said Curve General Manager Rob Egan. "Our 15th season presented an opportunity for our fans to choose the players from each era they wanted to have in bobblehead form. The Tinkersons bobble is a unique opportunity for the organization to celebrate one of our own front office staff members who has realized his dream of becoming a nationally-syndicated cartoonist with King Features. We're so excited for Bill and the comic strip's launch and thought this would be a fun way to recognize his achievement with our fans."

Other unique items that find themselves on the giveaway itinerary this season are the Peoples Natural Gas Field Replica presented by Peoples Natural Gas & WTAJ-TV on May 24 (first 1,000 fans), the Altoona Curve Shelf Elf courtesy of Ravine Ink & Thread on July 20 (first 1,000 fans) and a Curve Light Switch Plate on July 31 (first 1,000 fans).

Kids will want to make their way to Curve, Pa. throughout the season for different giveaways especially for those 14 & under beginning with the Curve Youth Batting Gloves Giveaway to the first 1,000 youngsters presented by UPMC Health Plan on April 28. To go with the batting gloves, kids will want to return to the ballpark to snag the Curve Youth Bat Bag Giveaway, which will be handed out to the first 1,000 kids thanks to UPMC Health Plan. Once it's time to head back to school, the Curve will have a Back-to-School Giveaway to the first 1,000 kids into the park thanks to Ravine Ink & Thread on August 14.

The Curve will have a new Curve Party Pack Series this season, which spans four different games during the season and is geared for fans ages 21 and up to help them spruce up the man cave. The series begins June 20 with the Playing Cards giveaway (first 500 fans 21+) presented by Third Shift Lager and continues on July 18 with a Beverage Coaster Set courtesy of Yuengling Lager (first 500 fans 21+). A Curve Koozie will be given away to the first 500 fans 21 and up on August 1 thanks to Redd's Apple Ale as the third item in the four-part series. The fourth and final giveaway will come on August 15 in the form of a Curve Bottle Opener to the first 500 fans 21 and up thanks to Bud Light.

Fans are encouraged to collect all four items in the Curve Party Pack Series and bring them back to the ballpark on August 31 to be entered for a chance to win a Tailgating Prize Package.
