DANVILLE, Va. - The Danville Braves have unveiled images and details of their three bobblehead giveaways for the upcoming 2018 season.
The first 500 fans in attendance on July 21 will receive a Ronald Acuña bobblehead presented by Comfort Inn. The Acuña Matata bobblehead features the current Atlanta Braves rookie phenom being held up by former Braves great Andruw Jones as the heir to the king of the outfield. Both Acuña (2015) and Jones (1994) played for Danville on their journey to the big leagues.

On August 10, the D-Braves will honor longtime Appalachian League President Lee Landers - who is retiring following the 2018 season after 23 years as league president and 60 years in baseball - with a bobblehead giveaway for the first 300 fans.
The Danville Braves' bobblehead promotions conclude with a Chipper Jones "Crazy Train" bobblehead presented by Danville Toyota on August 18. The first 500 fans through the gates will receive a bobblehead of the Atlanta Braves legend who will be inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame this July. The special bobblehead plays Ozzy Osbourne's "Crazy Train," which was Jones' trademark walkup song during his career in Atlanta.
Bobblehead giveaways will be one (1) per person (not per ticket). Tickets can be purchased online at www.dbraves.com or by calling 434.797.3792. Mark your calendars for all D-Braves promotions this season.

The Danville Braves are the Rookie (Advance) affiliate of the Atlanta Braves. The D-Braves began play in 1993 and will celebrate their 25th anniversary during the 2018 season. The D-Braves play in the Appalachian League, which consists of 10 teams across North Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, and West Virginia.
