DANVILLE, Va. - The Danville Braves will welcome fans and media to Legion Field for FanFest on Saturday, June 16. The free event will begin at 4:30pm with the first of two autograph sessions with 2018 Danville Braves players. In addition to getting autographs, fans will also have the opportunity to watch the team practice, and season ticket holders (half and full season) will be able to watch batting practice on the field.
Games and other entertainment options will be available on the concourse free of charge throughout FanFest, including corn hole for all ages and the speed pitch and bounce house for children.
FanFest is free for all wishing to attend. Gates will open at 4:15pm and the event will conclude when the team completes practice. The complete schedule of events is below. The concession stand will be open throughout FanFest.
Gates Open: 4:15 pm
Autograph Session 1: 4:30 pm - 5:10 pm
Autograph Session 2: 5:20 pm - 6:00 pm
Practice: 5:30 pm - approximately 8:30 pm
Concessions Open: 4:15 pm - 7:30 pm
Games and Concourse Activities: 4:15 pm - approximately 8:30 pm
The Danville Braves are the Rookie (Advance) affiliate of the Atlanta Braves. The D-Braves began play in 1993 and will celebrate their 25th anniversary during the 2018 season.
