Do you want a chance at $1 million?

BB&T Ballpark approaching one million fans
April 30, 2013

BB&T Ballpark is on pace to be the fastest Advanced Class-A stadium to host one million fans. The night when the Winston-Salem Dash surpass the one-million mark, one lucky Dash fan in attendance will receive a Dash prize pack and have a chance to win one million dollars.

On the historic night at BB&T Ballpark, a fan in attendance will be chosen to participate in a game of chance on the field. The fan will win one of three prizes: one million dollars, a two-year lease on a $30,000 vehicle from Flow Companies, LLC, or two Dash tickets for life.

Based on projections, the Dash expect to hit one million fans sometime during the month of May. The Dash are scheduled to play 17 games at BB&T Ballpark during the month of May, beginning with a six-game homestand from May 3-8.

"Our community's support over the last three-plus seasons has been incredible," Dash team President Geoff Lassiter said. "Dash fans are the best in Minor League Baseball, and this accomplishment proves that. We can't wait to celebrate our millionth fan at some point in the coming weeks."

Since BB&T Ballpark's opening in April of 2010, the Dash pace all 30 Advanced Class-A teams in attendance. Winston-Salem has drawn more than 300,000 fans in each of the facility's first three full seasons.

These fans have created a home field advantage for the Dash, who boast Minor League Baseball's best home record since 2010. Winston-Salem owns an all-time record of 140-82 (.631) inside BB&T Ballpark.

The Dash continues their drive toward one million fans at BB&T Ballpark with a six-game homestand that begins Friday against the Salem Red Sox. First pitch is set for 7 p.m., and a postgame fireworks show follows the game. For tickets, call the Dash at (336) 714-2287 or visit wsdash.com.
