DAYTON, Ohio - The Dayton Dragons are pleased to host local area scout troops for Scout Night at the Ballpark on Friday, July 12. The Dragons will face the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers, affiliates of the Milwaukee Brewers, in the game that starts at 7:00 p.m.
During Scout Nights, local boy and girl scout troops are invited to the ballpark to walk in a pre-game parade around the field, enjoy the game and then camp out on the outfield and enjoy a movie on the video board. Friday's movie will be the 2016 animated film Zootopia.
Scout Overnighter packages are $25 per pack or troop member, which includes the parade, tickets to the game and a spot to camp out and watch a movie. For $12, scout troops can attend the game on Sunday, August 11, when the Dragons face the Lansing Lugnuts at 2:08 p.m. After the game on August 11, all scouts can run the bases.
