Dayton's Montrell Marshall delivered a two-out, game-winning single in the bottom of the 10th inning to drive in Dayton's Stuart Fairchild from second base. The East Division team won the game 3-2 in walk-off style.
Marshall was named the Most Valuable Player of the MWL All-Star Game, becoming the second Dayton player to receive this honor (Jay Bruce won it in 2006).

Montrell Marshall: Produced game-winning RBI single in bottom of the 10th.  Went 1-2 as a reserve first baseman.

Stuart Fairchild: Went 0 for 2 as a reserve right fielder. Scored winning run in 10th inning on Marshall RBI single.
Hendrik Clementina: Started the game at the designated hitter position and went 0 for 2.
John Ghyzel: Retired all four batters he faced with two strikeouts.  Struck out a batter for the final out in the top of the 9th inning. Pitched a perfect 10th inning with one strikeout (inning began with a runner at second base by rule). 
Cory Thompson: Struck out the only batter he faced for the first out in the top of the 9th inning.
