KANNAPOLIS, NC - Due to inclement weather, field conditions, and projected forecasts, Wednesday night's Delmarva Shorebirds-Kannapolis Intimidators game has been cancelled. It will not be made up.

This is the third time in five days the Shorebirds have had a game cancelled, and it is the 12th day since May 12 that has been impacted in some form by rain.

The Shorebirds and Intimidators will wrap up their series with a doubleheader on Thursday evening. Cameron Bishop (5-3, 3.60) will get the Game 1 start for Delmarva, followed by Matthias Dietz (5-1, 3.02) in Game 2. Kannapolis has Blake Battenfield (5-1, 1.58) and John Parke (6-3, 2.47) penciled in for Games 1 and 2, respectively.
