Shorebirds Series Opener against Suns Postponed

SALISBURY, MD - Due to continuing inclement weather conditions across the Eastern Shore, Thursday night's Delmarva Shorebirds-Hagerstown Suns game has been postponed.
The Shorebirds and Suns will make the game up as part of a single-admission doubleheader on Sunday afternoon, May 20. Game one of the twin bill will begin at 12:35 p.m. with game two to follow 30 minutes after the conclusion of the first game. Both games will last seven innings.
Delmarva and Hagerstown will begin their series on Friday night with Cameron Bishop (3-2, 2.19) matching up against Nick Raquet (2-4, 2.56). First pitch is set for 7:05 p.m. with gates opening at 6:00. The first 1,000 fans through the gates at Perdue Stadium on Friday will receive a Jonathan Schoop replica jersey presented by Delaware Express. It's also Froggy 99.9 Big Beer Friday and Orange Friday. Pregame coverage of the first game on Fox Sports 960 AM and the MiLB First Pitch app begins at 6:50 with Will DeBoer and Drew Williams on the call.
