Napoli To Represent Doubledays In ASG

AUBURN, NY - Auburn's David Napoli will be representing the Doubledays in the 2013 New York-Penn League All-Star Game.

The southpaw from New Orleans, LA has been the only Doubledays player selected for the All Star celebration.

Napoli currently holds a 1.37 ERA and has struck out 23 batters in 19 and 2/3 innings pitched this season.

Probably one of the most impressive stats the reliever brings to the All Star festivities however is his success against right-handed batters. In 48 at-bats, righties have only 7 hits, totaling a .146 batting average.

The 2013 NYPL All Star Game will be hosted by the Connecticut Tigers at Dodd Stadium in Norwich on August 13.
